TOMINTOUL 12 YEARS OLD 2010 VINTAGE OLOROSO SHERRY CASK FINISH BATCH 2
Our Master Distiller, Robert Fleming has carefully selected single malt distilled in 2010 and matured initially in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks. The single malt in these casks has been married then finished in the finest Oloroso Sherry butts sourced from Andalucía, Spain.
The Oloroso Sherry butts perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting rich fruit flavours, which enhance the character and complexity of our whisky.
TASTING NOTES
| Nose | Deep and rich with aromas of dried fruits, milk chocolate, toasted walnuts and sweet spices. |
| Palate | Rounded and sweet with layers of maple pecan pie, chocolate coated brazil nuts, fruit cake and cappuccino foam with hints of cedarwood and rolling tobacco. |
| Finish | A sweet linger of chocolate sponge cake, golden raisins and hints of toffee apple fading into dark chocolate and warming oak spice. |
