We are delighted to announce that our 16 Year Old has won a Gold Medal from the world renowned International Spirits Challenge awards.

This is an outstanding achievement, which demonstrates the quality of our whisky and the skill and dedication of the team at the distillery who create it.

We are delighted to announce that we have won four Gold Medals from the prestigious Scotch Whisky Awards 2021. These awards are given by The Spirits Business, a world leading spirits publication which celebrates excellence in the industry.

 The wins included the recent releases Cigar Malt and Seridh, plus our much loved 16 Year Old and T'lath. 

These awards are a testament to the hard work, skill and dedication of the team at the distillery in the heart of the Cairngorms.

We are delighted to be working alongside former England fast bowler and now owner of Hoggy's Grill, Matthew Hoggard to host a fantastic charity whisky and food tasting event. You will get the chance to try 3 of our fantastic drams paired with some of Hoggy’s finest BBQ treats. For this event we have paired with Rainbows Hospice who provide specialist care to children and young people with life limiting or life-threatening conditions. 50% of all ticket sales will be donated to the Rainbows Hospice to help them continue the great work they do. We are delighted to announce that our Tomintoul 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has won a Gold medal in this years San Francisco World Spirits Competition! The 10 Year Old is sweet and honeyed with layers of crème caramel, toasted almonds with highlights of lemon zest and a grassy freshness. A truly outstanding dram.

Tomintoul Tlàth has also received a Gold medal! These awards are testament to the hard work, and skill of our distillery team, who create our beautifully smooth & fruity single malts.

We are delighted announce that our flagship expression, the Tomintoul 16 Year Old, won a “Category Winner” award in the prestigious World Whiskies Awards 2021. This award is given to the best Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, in the 13-20 years age range. These awards are globally recognised and give homage to the highest quality of whiskies around the world. This result is a testament to the team and the hard work that goes into making our smooth, beautifully balanced Speyside single malts.
