We are tremendously pleased to have been awarded a Master at the Asian Spirit Masters 2016 for the Tomintoul 40 Year Old Quadruple Cask. A Master is only awarded to outstanding quality spirits within the drinks industry and our Tomintoul 40 Year Old was recognised for its ‘well-rounded’ notes against strong competitors. The whisky was described for having a balance of ‘tobacco, honey, and some vanilla’ notes by the judges. 

We would like to thank the Judges and the Spirits Business magazine for this award and we look forward to producing and maintaing exceptional whisky!

We are pleased to announce the release of our new limited edition Tomintoul 15 Years Old Portwood Finish.The new expression has only 5820 bottles available with each bottle individually numbered. The malt whisky was transferred from Bourbon casks into hand-picked Port pipes to “finish” its maturation for a generous period of time in order to further enrich and refine the whisky’s characteristics; most notably, the tones of fruity Port sweetness. Tomintoul Master Distiller, Robert Fleming deemed that the time was right to bottle the whisky at 15 years of age when the malt whisky flavours had reached harmonious notes with the sweet attributes of the Port wood. 

The new release is supplied in cases of 6 x 70cl bottles in individual cylindrical cartons and it will be available in key European and selected world markets.

It's a busy week up in Speyside ahead of this weekend’s Spirit Of Speyside Whisky Festival with a series of games, tournaments, tastings and Distillery tours.

We had a wonderful time last year! Meeting new and existing customers and fans of the Tomintoul whisky products.

The Spirit of Speyside Golf Challenge, at the Ballindalloch Castle Golf Course with Team TOMINTOUL DISTILLERY - players include Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, Jordan Hillman and Josh Sinclair playing for the title.

The Tomintoul Distillery Tour with Tom Gerrie - Tomintoul Distillery Manager (Event SOLD OUT).

Visit from Scottish Malts Classic Car Tour at Tomintoul Distillery - the classic car tour taking place in the scenic Speyside starting off at Loch Lomond.

Grantown's Kilted Dramble - Join an evening of fascinating tales as you walk through the beautiful Anagach forest guided by the Grantown-on-Spey Kilted Heroes. Guests will enjoy sampling the Tomintoul Whisky range enhanced by River Spey water and paired by Iain Burnett, the Highland Chocolatier’s divine chocolates before finishing up back in the warmth and comfort of Rosehall Guest House.

Tomintoul Whisky will be at Whisky Live London on the 18th and 19th of March for another great day of whisky tastings, food pairings and masterclasses.

We will be holding a Masterclass on Saturday at 1pm the masterclass will be led by Duncan Baldwin.

Guests at the show will have the opportunity to sample our delectable range including our brand new and soon to be released Tomintoul 15 Portwood finish!

Tomintoul Whisky was at the Groningen Whisky Festival, Netherlands. The event took place in the striking historical Der Aa-Kerk, a medival church in dating back to the early 1200's. 

The event welcomed hundreds of whisky enthusiasts, beginners and all to sample variety of whiskies including exclusive products, attend masterclasses and food/whisky pairings.

Our Brand Ambassador Iain was in attendance (pictured with Five Decades Single Malt Whisky) were he introduced and assisted guests with our whisky.
