  • World Leading Long Distance Driver Joe Miller Breaks Record at The Tomintoul Distillery 50th Anniversary Celebrations

    To kick-start the 3 day celebrations at the Tomintoul Distillery for the 50th Anniversary, world long distance driver and Tomintoul sponsored athlete Joe Miller set a record breaking strike by hitting a ball 449 yards across all 7 Tomintoul distillery warehouses. Joe Miller was celebrating with the Tomintoul Distillery in Scotland, whilst being challenged to strike a ball across the 350 yard warehouses. A big congrats to Joe for the record breaking finish as picture here in the full swing of things...

  • Tomintoul Highland Games 2015

    A 170 year old tradition!

    This Saturday  are the Tomintoul Highland Games. Held on the 3rd Saturday of July for over a 170 years, this long held tradition will definitely be a blast! Showcasing traditional heavy and light events, highland dancing, piping competitions and lesser known entertainments like tilt the bucket and barrel racing.

  • Five bottles of Tomintoul 10yo up for grabs!

    Tomintoul Distillery will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary this summer.

    In celebration of this magnificent feat, we will be giving away five bottles of Tomintoul 10yo - because 5 x 10 = 50 - to five lucky winners of our Facebook competition.

    Father's day is on the 21st June - have you got the right gift yet?

    We are giving away ONE free distillery tour of our beautiful distillery. Tomintoul Distillery is usually closed to the public but we thought that for this year's Father's Day, we would give open our gates and provide a personalised tour by the Distillery manager. You will also receive a bottle of one of our finest Single malts as a commemorative gift of the day!

    Celebrate the BBC Good Food Show Summer at this famous summer food and drink festival in Birmingham at the NEC this weekend from 11 - 14 June 2015. 

    This festival offers you a fabulous opportunity to sample, test and buy some great products!

  • Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2015

    Our wonderful team will be present with Robert Fleming, Tom Gerrie, Andrew Sim, Mary Inglis, Lisa Appleby and Nikki Brand from Tomintoul Distillery.

    Whisky Fair, Memorial Hall, Dufftown –  this Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2015

    Entrance fee - £10.00 spirit of speyside 2015

    The Dufftown Whisky Fair is an opportunity for festival visitors to meet the smaller distillers on Speyside and those that don't have Visitor's Centres at their Distilleries.  The Fair comprises up to 15 stands and is an ideal opportunity to meet the Independent Bottlers and smaller Distillery Companies under one roof and sample a dram or 2.  The entry fee to the Whisky Fair includes your own dated Festival Glencairn Whisky Glass to take around the Fair and is a wonderful souvenir of your visit to the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.  Refreshments will be available in the Back Hall throughout the day.

    All the proceeds from this event after costs will be donated to the Whisky and Heritage Centre project.

    Whisky tasting is restricted to those over 18 years old

  • Teaming up with number 1 ranked World’s Longest Golf Driver, Joe Miller

    Tomintoul Distillery are delighted to announce a sponsorship arrangement with Joe Miller. Joe has consistently been ranked number 1 in the World in this rapidly growing branch of golf – long distance driving. Already very popular in the USA and Europe the sport is attracting more and more competitors and spectators alike. Media coverage is growing with major channels giving excellent exposure to the sport.

    The sponsorship deal will enable Tomintoul Single Malt Scotch Whisky to display its logo prominently at key events in which Joe will participate like the World Matchplay Championship, the European Long Drive series (LDET), the World Long Drive Championship and various corporate and media outings. Additionally Joe will participate in various Tomintoul events throughout the period ahead:
