  • Longest Drive European Tournament

    Fabulous European Championship this weekend!LDET

The Longest Drive European Tournament took place this weekend for the first time in the UK at the Heathfield Driving Range in Oxford. Not only was this championship featuring the best European Long Drivers, but also the Juniors, Ladies, Seniors and Amateurs with a great demo by Tony Llyod a short arm golfer.

Standard golf rules do not apply at this sort of event, it is a much more lively event with a DJ, drinks and of course some great whiskies to keep the spirits up and the damp out. Our usual standard of weather was there to greet us Saturday morning but by the afternoon the skies had cleared and a roaring championship was well underway.

Joe Miller, undampened by the weather, went on to win the Tournament for the third time in a row! A massive congratulation to Joe Miller on a superb win and a great thank you to all the participants and supporters for a fabulous weekend!

    Winners of each category:

    Pros: Joe Miller

    Ladies: Elizabeth Swallow

    Juniors: Jack Groves

    Amateurs: Martin Rogalski
