Mar 2022: We are proud to announce that our Tomintoul Cigar Malt has been awarded a Gold Medal at this year’s International Wine & Spirits Competition, scoring 96/100. A great achievement for the Tomintoul range, and a testament to the skill and dedication of our incredible team.
Nov 2021: We are delighted to release the 2006 Vintage Limited Edition, Tomintoul 15 Year Old Port Cask Finish. The Port pipe casks perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt, which enhance the character and complexity of the whisky. The finished whisky is elegant, intricate and fruit rich, bottled at 46% alc/vol, natural colour and non-chill filtered. It is a limited release of only 9,762 individually numbered bottles.
Nov 2021: We are delighted to announce the release of our new 2009 Vintage Limited Edition, the Tomintoul 12 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish. The whisky has been initially matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in Oloroso Sherry butts sourced by our Master Distiller Robert Fleming from Andalucia, Spain. This is a limited release of only 13,445 individually numbered bottles.
Oct 2021: We are thrilled to announce the introduction of a new Limited Edition release from Tomintoul Distillery. Tomintoul 16 Year Old Sauternes Wine Cask Finish was distilled in 2004 and is a limited Global release of only 5,094 bottles. The Sauternes wine barrels perfectly complement our Tomintoul Single Malt adding depth and complexity.
