  • TOMINTOUL DISTILLERY PRODUCTION MANAGER TOM GERRIE RETIRES

    Our treasured Production Manager Tom Gerrie is retiring after many years with us. Tom was most notable for his famous personalised 'Tom's Tours' and overseeing aspects of the production at the Distillery.

    We'd like to wish him the very best in his retirement and we gifted him with a personalised ‘Tom-in-Towel’ and a special bottle of Tomintoul whisky. #HappyRetirement

  • JOE MILLER CROWNED WORLD CHAMPION AT LONG DRIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016

    Tomintoul Whisky Ambassador Joe Miller has won the World Long Distance Championships 2016 with an impressive 423 Yard finish! We are very pleased for Joe and would like to congratulate him on securing the World Champion title for the second time. We'll be celebrating with a dram of Tomintoul to commemorate a fantastic achievement!

  • Tomintoul Five Decades Wins Gold at Drinks International Travel Retail Challenge 2016

    We are pleased to have been awarded Gold for our Tomintoul Five Decades Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The limited edition wins its fourth award in the last year. Our Five Decades was created to commemorate the 50 years of craftsmanship at Tomintoul Distillery and we're pleased that it has been awarded yet again.

    Five Decades is now available for purchase online and selected retailers visit our 'store' page on our website or send us an email.

    We would like to the Drinks International for this award and to celebrate we'll raise a dram of Tomintoul!

  • TWE WHISKY SHOW 2016

    The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show took place this weekend on October 1st – 3rd October 2016. We had a fantastic time and would like to thank those who came by to try our drams with the help of Iain our Tomintoul Whisky Brand Ambassador and Steven.   • Tom's Tour at the Dufftown Speyside Whisky Festival

    Autumn Speyside Whisky Festival & Tomintoul Bus Tour 2016

    The Dufftown Autumn Speyside Whisky Festival is back again taking place on the 22nd to 26th September 2016.

    With an exciting array of whisky tastings, fun tournaments and tours. There will be a Tomintoul Bus Tour and Distillery visit guided by our Production Manager, Tom Gerrie.

    The tour will involve in-depth viewings and tastings at the distillery with a visit to the Whisky Castle in Tomintoul where you will see our record breaking 105 litre bottle of Tomintoul Whisky, dubbed the largest Single Malt Scotch Whisky in the world. The tour will then be finished with a 2-course lunch in the Clockhouse Restaurant in Tomintoul (which is included in the event ticket price).

    We’re looking forward to seeing new and long-time friends of Tomintoul at this year’s event. All the proceeds from this event after costs will be donated to the Whisky and Heritage Centre project.

  • Final Farewell to Raymond after 9 years with us!

    Tomintoul Distillery Plant Operator, Raymond is sadly leaving us. He’s been with us for almost a Decade starting at the distillery back in 2007. We wish him the very best in his new endeavours and to celebrate we'll be having a wee dram ofcourse!
